Cynthia McCollum, MBA is an experienced hospital and health system leader with a strong record of stewarding programmatic and institutional expansion, creating and redesigning institutional programs and facilities, improving quality of care and service delivery, and optimizing government and regulatory relationships. She recently retired from her position as Senior Vice President, Hospital Administration at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she was responsible for a budget exceeding $2 billion and oversight of multiple hospital departments with several thousand staff.

Cindy has served, and continues to serve, on a number of external boards, most in healthcare but including one in education and one in the arts. She has strong knowledge of 501(c)(3) corporation law, human resources law, the New York State Health Code and the Joint Commission standards for Accreditation of Hospitals.

Current and Past Board Memberships include Healthcare Association of New York State, National Comprehensive Cancer Network, Afya Foundation, Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention, and New York Society for Health Planning.

Cindy has a deep interest in mentorship and talent development and is an experienced public speaker. She was responsible for leading MSKCC’s response to the Covid pandemic in 2020-2021 and was honored as a “Woman of Distinction” by the New York State Assembly in 2021. She holds a MBA from Yale University and an AB magna cum laude from Princeton University.
