Dr. Katie Keown is co-Chair of the Pediatric Section of NYAM. She is a dedicated pediatric clinician and academician, currently serving as Associate Director for Columbia Community Pediatrics, where she oversees resident education in community, population,  mental, and behavioral health. As Chair for the AAP Chapters 2/3 Committee for Underserved Children, she has led the committee to develop health education programming for unhoused families. She has special interest and has authored publications in early childhood and relational health, parenting, social determinants of health, and community/population health.  She is excited to lead the Pediatric Section in developing and implementing initiatives to educate healthcare providers and to improve the health and wellbeing of children and their families.
