Call the Historical Collections Librarian at 212-822-7315 or email library@nyam.org, at least five workdays in advance.
Morning appointments (10:00 am to 1:00 pm) and afternoon appointments (1:30 pm to 4:45 pm) are offered to readers. Spaces are limited. Morning readers may extend their time into the afternoon if space is available.

Let us know which materials you need from our collection, and we will have your items waiting for you when you arrive. Please provide your list of requested materials at least three workdays before your scheduled visit.

Drop-in Tours
Join us on the first Monday of every month (excluding holidays) to see highlights from the collection in the Drs. Barry and Bobbi Coller Rare Book Reading Room. Meet at 12:00 noon in the Academy building lobby. Visitors will need to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and wear a mask.
