Jill  Clark

Jill Clark is a fundraiser and organizational strategist with over two decades of success leading revenue growth across multiple sectors, including global and community health, human services, humanitarian work, and the arts. Her deep insight into philanthropy extends across US borders and into international landscapes. Before joining the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM), Jill served as Interim Chief Development Officer at USA for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. She was pivotal in managing the surge of generosity in support of the Ukraine crisis, successfully securing over $200 million. Her strategic focus on building enduring donor relationships and leveraging data analytics increased sustainable giving and donor lifetime value.

Her tenure at JDRF, the leading international organization funding Type 1 diabetes research, included leadership across the international affiliates in six nations, strategic planning, improved Board governance, and heightened donor and volunteer engagement. 

As Head of Fundraising at the Irish Cancer Society, Ireland’s premier health organization, she transformed the culture of support from transactional to donor-centric giving, effectively broadening the donor base and diversifying and increasing overall revenue by 44 percent. Her leadership at amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, and Safe Horizon further underscores her donor and organizational development expertise.

Jill holds an Executive Certificate in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership from Georgetown University and received her BFA from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Jill resides in New York City with her husband, Steve McNally, a proud Scotland native.
