Jennifer Russo recently joined New York Academy of Medicine as the Director of Marketing and Communications. Jen is a strategic marketing leader, brand builder, and growth catalyst. She has led teams at organizations spanning the healthcare ecosystem, including in behavioral health, managed care (Medicare and Medicaid), digital health, and social determinants of health (SDOH).

Most recently, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Equality Health, where she shaped the company’s go-to-market strategy and helped strengthen its position as a leader in value-based care. Prior to that, she led marketing at CHESS Health, a high-growth behavioral health technology company, driving national awareness and demand for solutions supporting substance use recovery. She held previous leadership positions at Mom’s Meals, CareCentrix, and Medco.

Jen holds degrees from Northwestern University (BA) and Columbia University (MA), as well as from Indiana University South Bend (MBA).
