Director, Center for Healthy Aging

Dena Javadi, PhD, MSPH, is the Director of the Center for Healthy Aging. Dr. Javadi is a social epidemiologist and health systems researcher with expertise in mixed methods research, program development and evaluation, and implementation science. Her areas of work include healthy aging, worker wellbeing, and intersectoral action for health. She has previously worked at the World Health Organization (WHO) on health systems strengthening, implementation research, maternal health, healthy aging, and the WHO Academy. She has also worked at McMaster University with Health TAPESTRY (Teams Advancing Patient Experience: Strengthening Quality) on primary care strengthening to meet the needs of older adults. She holds an MSPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a PhD in Population Health Sciences from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
