The tradition of an annual discourse goes back to the Academy’s founding year, 1847, when Dr. John W. Francis delivered an oration to an audience of 2,500 people at the Broadway Tabernacle. Please join us for this year’s Annual Meeting of the Fellows and Anniversary Discourse & Awards as we induct the Academy’s newest Fellows and Members, pay special tribute to our 2017 award winners for distinguished contributions in their fields, and celebrate our 30-year Fellows.
Watch the video of Dr. Oshinsky's discourse, "Bellevue: Three Centuries of Medicine and Mayhem at America's Most Storied Hospital," and the awards ceremony.
