SEJAL GANDHI, M.A., C.H.E.S.
Sejal Gandhi is a health educator with The New York Academy of Medicine Office of School Health Programs. She is currently a Senior Project Director focusing on The Junior Fellows and The Scholars Programs.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Gandhi taught elementary school to a diverse student population. She was also responsible for facilitating health promotion workshops for students of color at the New York University Center for Health Promotion.
Ms. Gandhi holds a Masters degree in Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist credentialed by the National Commission for Health Education. She is also the Chair of the Education Committee for Akanksha, a non-profit organization headquartered in Mumbai, India, whose mission it is to help impact the lives of less privileged children.
