Sharon Brown
Sharon Brown, M.L.S, M.A. is a Database Trainer/Online Analyst with the National Library of Medicine’s National Training Center and Clearinghouse (NTCC). She travels the entire United States providing free training on three NLM databases, PubMed®, TOXNET® and the Gateway/ClinicalTrials.gov. These classes are held in major medical school library facilities, library consortium computer labs or hospital libraries. Additionally, she participates in the development and advancement of NTCC’s initiatives: the application of instructional design, evaluation of training, development of distance education, and webcasting, all in the specific area of health education. Ms Brown received her M.L.S. from Pratt Institute and her M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University.
