James Egan

James Egan holds an MPH from Boston University School of Public Health and a BA in Anthropology and Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Mr. Egan has over ten years of experience in health, HIV/AIDS, and human rights work. He has over five years of experience in project management and qualitative/quantitative research. Prior to joining the Academy, Mr. Egan was Project Director at Harvard Medical School for two NIH funded studies on MSM substance use and HIV. He is currently the project director for the Integrated Buprenorphine and HIV Care Evaluation and Support Center (BHIVES); the evaluation of the Physician Training and Clinical Support Center (PCSS); and an HIV prevention project for MSM which integrates HIV risk reduction skills building with cooking and nutrition education.
