The New York Academy of Medicine acts decisively through initiatives designed to preserve health, reduce disease, and increase the quality of and access to healthcare for populations living in cities. The generosity of fellows and friends who believe in our mission enables the Academy to address the most pressing urban health issues.

A gift to the Academy is an investment in keeping our nation's cities and their most vulnerable inhabitants healthier.

All of the Academy's divisions depend on support. You may choose to designate your gift for general support of the Academy or any one of the initiatives. A contribution to the David E. Rogers Fellowship provides first-year medical students with a transformative educational experience in which tomorrow’s physicians are sensitized to the needs of medically underserved communities today, through projects that couple research with service. A gift to our Library ensures that its extensive collection of the most current medical and health information resources available remains open and accessible to the public free of charge, as it has for 125 years.
